Monday, January 17, is Martin Luther King Jr day. He had big dreams that he worked tirelessly to see manifest and his actions ultimately resulted in equal rights for Blacks in America. His most famous speech and open declaration of his vision was, "I have a dream". Martin Luther King used beautiful imagery and searing words to awaken the hearts of sleeping Americans and call people to action. Martin Luther King is proof that dreams, backed by action and passion, do come true.
Everyone has a dream. As you celebrate Martin Luther King day, take a moment to think about your dreams and what actions you need to take to make them happen. Write your own " I have a dream" speech and keep it visible as a reminder to keep working towards it.
